Kurt Brumme joined Parthenon Capital Partners in 2012 and is a Principal in the firm’s Boston office. He is active in sourcing and executing new investment opportunities and working with portfolio companies in the healthcare and financial services industries.
Prior to joining Parthenon, Mr. Brumme gained operating experience as Finance and Corporate Development Manager for Grupo Qualicorp, a Brazilian healthcare broker and benefits administrator based in Sao Paulo.
Mr. Brumme was also an Investment Associate at General Atlantic (“GA”), a global growth equity firm in New York City. At GA, he focused exclusively on healthcare in the U.S. and Latin America, identifying and executing new investments across a range of subsectors. He also supported GA’s healthcare portfolio companies, with particular focus on revenue and payment cycle management, HCIT, insurance services and benefits administration.
Prior to GA, Mr. Brumme was an investment banking analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group at Morgan Stanley, where he worked with private equity clients on equity, debt and M&A transactions in a variety of industries.
Mr. Brumme earned his B.A., cum laude, in Economics and Mathematics from Williams College and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
