Eliza Corporation Adds Mark Manning and Ralph Perfetto to Executive Leadership Team

Appointments reflect significant growth and expansion in the
Health Engagement Management market

DANVERS, Mass. – June 11, 2014 – Eliza Corporation (“Eliza”), the pioneer and recognized leader in Health Engagement Management, today announced the appointment of Mark Manning to Chief Revenue Officer, joining the Company with thirty years of marketing, sales and operations experience in the healthcare and technology markets. Ralph Perfetto, Ph.D., was named Chief Analytics Officer, bringing over twenty years of experience creating innovative solutions for measuring the effectiveness of care, health plan performance, and patient outcomes.

Before joining Eliza, Manning was Vice President and Managing Director of Pegasystems, Inc., a leader in business process management and customer relationship management solution. Pegasystems hired Manning to build a Healthcare unit that could support health plans, pharmacy benefit management companies and government healthcare agencies to improve the quality and efficiency of their core activities such as sales process management, enrollment, member and provider services, utilization management care and disease management, and claims processing. This successful business grew to include applications installed at all of the largest commercial health plans, all of the largest pharmacy benefit management companies, many of the largest Blue Cross plans and several government agencies and programs including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Manning also has held the roles of Senior Vice President and Managing Director at Solucient, LLC, Senior Vice President of Sales and Account Management at the Codman Research Group, Vice President and Senior Program Director for HMO Blue of Massachusetts, and Manager of Data Analytics and Product Services at Mediqual Systems, Inc.

Prior, Perfetto co-founded QualityMetric, a health survey company acquired by Optum, and was a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Response Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of software and hardware solutions used to measure health risks, and provide immediate feedback reports to patients and employees engaged in wellness initiatives. Perfetto helped to commercialize the world’s most widely used patient-based health outcomes measurement tools (SF-12/36 v2®). He also co-developed patented data-driven, psychometrically valid, computer-adaptive health outcome tools used for managing disease and measuring patients’ physical and emotional well-being during various treatment options.
